The work of Shannon carries the movie since he plays a complicated and friendly character who can be very terrifying. The issue whether or not he's right to lose his mind causes uncertainty in the whole movie.

Denis Villeneuve is popular today for major films such as Blade Runner 2049 and the forthcoming Dune, but he has dealt with Enemy more intimately. The film stars Jake Gyllenhaal as an unthinking man who finds an actor he saw in a movie that seems like him.
Villeneuve and Gyllenhaal proved to be a strong pair with the superb thriller prisoners for the abduction. Enemies are much harder to dissect and a compelling dark story exists.

Simon and Robyn, a married couple, move to a new home. Soon, a man Simon once met, they crossed paths with Gordo. He begins to deliver costly presents into his house and to the confusion of the two, he is not asked to attend. But the tables turn as the behavior exposes an awful secret.
The cast is outstanding and the intimate and grim mood is really sold. The Gift is another film in which the viewer doesn't know the villain's character and the perpetrator.

A naval veteran who remains unsettled in an American environment since the Second world war, is relieved to join the revolution.
